We are seeking a skilled and experienced Microsoft Business Central Functional Consultant to join our team. As a Functional Consultant, you will play a crucial role in assisting our clients in the successful implementation, customization, and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly known as Microsoft Dynamics NAV). You will collaborate closely with clients, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the ERP system aligns with business needs and objectives. Your expertise will help drive the successful adoption and utilization of Microsoft Business Central, enhancing our clients' operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

Requirements Analysis:Work closely with clients to gather and understand their business requirements, processes, and objectives. Translate these requirements into functional specifications that align with Microsoft Business Central capabilities.

Solution Design: Design and configure Microsoft Business Central solutions to address client needs, including financial management, supply chain, inventory, manufacturing, sales, and customer service processes.

Implementation: Lead and participate in the implementation of Microsoft Business Central projects, including system configuration, data migration, integration with other systems, and user training.

Customization and Development: Collaborate with technical teams in design and testing the development of customizations, extensions, and integrations that enhance the functionality of Microsoft Business Central.

Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of configured solutions to ensure they meet functional requirements and are free of errors. Address and resolve issues identified during testing.

User Training and Support: Provide end-user training and support to ensure clients are proficient in using Microsoft Business Central and effectively leveraging its features to meet business goals.

Change Management: Assist clients in managing organizational change associated with the adoption of new processes and technologies. Provide guidance on best practices for process improvement and system utilization.

Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation including functional specifications, process maps, training materials, and user guides.

Project Management: Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are delivered within scope, on time, and within budget. Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and updates in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Maintain relevant certifications and seek opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, or a related field.

- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Functional Consultant working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly Dynamics NAV).

- Strong understanding of ERP processes and concepts, especially within financial management, supply chain, manufacturing, and distribution.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and cross-functional teams.

- Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.

- Problem-solving aptitude and ability to think analytically and strategically.

- Relevant Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 Business Central are a plus.

- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and best practices (e.g., finance, manufacturing, distribution) is advantageous.
