At Infuzion our goal is not to just introduce you to Business Central but give you some practical guides on how it looks and feels to work inside of Business Central.  This is the first video in our series that will introduce you to actions within each module.  Most of the videos are under 10-15 mins, this one is a longer video, taking you on a tour of navigating Business Central and highlighting some of the cool features that will be covered in more detail in videos below.

Whoops! I made a mistake when entering my AP invoice, and now I need to correct it with a credit memo. Join me as we will dive into the ways of how to create credit memos and apply them to invoices.

In this session, we'll give you a sneak peek into the Chart of Accounts setup in Dynamics 365 Business Central and some really powerful financial analysis tools that come standard with BC! We'll review included financial statements and some tips and tricks to smart structuring of your chart, but we'll also get into BC's robust ability to filter, slice, and dice your financial data to drill into variances and outliers, see detail throughout subledgers, and (most importantly) get cleanly to Excel when needed from almost any screen.

Here we will look at a couple of ways to see what is due, how to build payment batches or and a way to quickly pay one vendor. We will also show you a sneak peak to some new, custom features we have already added to the payables module that will make the payment process easier!

 In this session we will showcase several informative Customer Inquiry and Reporting tools that come built in with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, and will look at the many options and parameters available, including ways to filter and view the data, drill into the data you need, and select from the output and format options offered to suit the varying purposes for inquiry and reporting in your business.

In this session we will go over how to handle payments returned from the bank for insufficient funds in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and will demonstrate how to book and bill any associated bank fees or additional charges that will be passed on to the Customer or absorbed internally

In this session we will take a look at how Customers are maintained in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and will review all of the sections of the Customer record, show how to retrieve key information from basics like contact info and setup, to sales and transaction statistics, summary data, reports and statements, email history, communication preferences, and custom document formats.

 In this session we will give an overview of the Customer List in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, and will walk through basic navigation of the page, and all of the places to access and view your Customer data, from basic inquiries to transaction history, and reporting as well as how to create documents and initiate transactions. 

This session will show how Bank Deposits in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central can be used to record payments received from any sources and combine them into a lump sum transaction to match how they appear on your bank statement. 

 Check out our new custom features we added in the AP module. We have taken some feedback from current clients and improved the payment process in our solution. Small updates but they pack a big punch! 

In this session we will illustrate how to schedule and automate the process of sending out Scheduled Customer Statements in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central at the desired frequency by setting up a job in the Job Queue to email them out with no action required once set up. 

 In this session we will walk through ways to make modifications to already recorded customer payments in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, such as how to apply payments to invoices at a later date, how to unapply and reapply misapplied payments, and how to void posted payments. 

This session reviews using the Cash Receipts Journal in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to record payments received. This versatile journal is ideal for posting payments from varying sources, and can apply them to Customers, Vendors, or GL accounts and can be easily used to post electronic payment files by taking advantage of the ability to copy and paste and post from Excel. 

Here we will look at a couple of ways to see what is due, how to build payment batches or and a way to quickly pay one vendor. We will also show you a sneak peak to some new, custom features we have already added to the payables module that will make the payment process easier!

 In this session we will show how to send automated email reminders of past due amounts to customers in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including the option to tack on late fees or charge interest with the availability of increasing levels of escalation, which gives the flexibility to customize wording of past due messages and set optional penalty amounts for each level.

In this session we will cover how to write off Customer amounts via credit memo in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, and also demonstrate an easy, efficient, “set it and forget it” way to automatically write off small change differences that remain when customer payments differ from outstanding invoice by amounts that fall within the threshold set in advance.
